Also known as a chimneypiece, the surround comes in either timber, stone, slate, marble or cast iron. This finishes off the fireplace and can be a simple wooden surround or a more elaborate one, for example, a pine surround with relief gesso ornamentation as in Georgian fire surrounds.

Generally made of cast iron in a horse shoe or square shape. Some inserts have tiled panels down each side. We have a selection of both simple and tiled inserts in a variety of sizes.
